The City Palace on the bank of Pichola has a rich architectural design. The Sajjangarh or the Monsoon Palace is located 3100 ft. from sea level and it would look good during the rainy days. The palace was once a shooting preserve by the former rulers.
Temples can be found all over India but the Jagdish temple can only be found in Udaipur. It is temple that offers a tribute to art. It has an unusual architectural design to which the roof are covered by another roof or doubled.
The Pratap Smarak Memorial, overlooking the Fateh Sagar Lake, is the memorial of Maharana Pratap, a Rajpu hero. The Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal is an institute that conducts studies and projects on folk arts, songs and festivals of some local regions. The Ahar Museum is an ancient capital of Sisodias where there is a rare collection of antiques.
The Shilpgram or the Artisan’s Village can depict the life styles and tradition of the locals. Local artisans also reside and gather up here. The Bagore Ki Haveli in the banks of Pichola Lake is a symbol of nobility on Udaipur because of the materials that the building is made of.
