Dhawa: This is also a popular attraction for several tourists, animal lovers and naturalists. Here you can actually find a nice balance between flora and fauna. This wildlife sanctuary is located at around 45 kms from Jodhpur is one of the selected places where Indian Antelope are found.

Nagaur: This place is little far from Jodhpur but still a must to visit location. Situated at a distance of 135 kms from the city of Jodhpur, the stunning fort with the splendid murals over here are really breathtaking. During the month of January and February, a cattle fair is also organized at Nagaur and it is also quite famous.

Rohet Fort: Forts are of prime importance in the state of Rajasthan. Almost everywhere in the state you are going to find fort or some ruins of it. Rohet Fort is also a very important Fort and is located merely 40kms away from Jodhpur. Bruce Chatwin and William Dalrymple, the two renowned authors are believed to have written The Songlines and The City of Djinns here itself.

Khimsar: This fort was laid in the year 1523 is situated at a distance of 92kms away from the city. Presently Khimsar fort is a heritage Hotel.
