Pemayangtse Monastery: Established by Lhatsun Chempo, it is perhaps the first ever built monastery in the entire state of Sikkim. The monastery, located at the top of the hills, gives you the most pleasant view of the Himalayan ranges.
Khecheopalri Lake: The Lake is covered by rich forest and is located in the extreme east of the state. The lake is considered sacred by the people over there of both Hindu and Buddhism religion. It is said that you can never a single leaf floating on the water surface of the lake as the birds naturally clean them.
