Chandannagar strand:
This beautifully bedecked pavement adorned with lights and encircled by abundant greenery is located along the shores of the river Ganges and is also surrounded by buildings of historical significance. One can simply go for a walk to enjoy the gentle wind or watch the sailing of small boats . Meditation centers called Vivekanand mandir and a projecting structure in the river Ganges are also present. This bank is considered to be the most ornamented shore of the river Ganges along the length of 2500 Kms.
Chandannagar Museum and Institute:
This happens to be one of the best and oldest museums of this place. Possesses a stunning compilation of French articles (for example, wooden furnishings of 18th century, cannons utilized in Anglo-French war etc) which are hard to find in any other place. Regular French classes are taken by the institute.
Chandannagar church:
This delightful church displays the magnificence of French architecture. The relics of church located at St. Louis are a pleasing tourist location too.
