Gol Gumbaz: This is a very important place in India, as it is the second largest tomb in entire planet. Actually a tomb of Mohammed Adil Shah, it is of 44 meters in diameter. Jumma Masjid: This mosque is one among the oldest mosque in the country which also holds an fine copy of the Holy Koran, which has been written in Gold lettering.
The Malik-e-Maidan: This is the largest cannon of the medieval period present in the world. It is about 14ft long and weighs near about 55 tons. There is also a popular belief that if you make a wish while touching the gun, it is bound to come true.
Aihole: A great example of the Chalukyan style it is also popularly referred to as the `Cradle of Indian Temple Architecture’. The first temple ever built here is the Lad Khan Temple which can be dated back to 5th century.
Pattadakal: It is one of the world heritage centers in India which has 10 beautiful temples all superb examples of the Chalukyan style of Architecture. The biggest temple of here is dedicated to Virupaksheshvara and also has several inscriptions embedded on the interiors and the exteriors of the temple.
