Agra is popularly known as the city of love in India. It is the only city in India, which bears one of the seven wonders in the world, the Taj Mahal. This historic monument is a symbol of love, the eternal love which Mughal emperor Shah Jehan built for his beloved wife Mumtaj. Because of this reason this city is the city of love and romance and if you also have someone beloved in your life, visiting Agra will undoubtedly boost your relationship. This historic monument is entirely build with pure marbles and you will be really surprised to know that this wonder was created was back in the 17th century, when no modern machinery existed. It is the most renowned tourist spot and apart from Taj Mahal there are also several places which are must to visit places in Agra.
Sikandra Fort: Mughal Emperor Akbar was a very kind and excellent ruler and during his reign Agra has seen many historic monuments. Sikandra fort is also one such example of the magnificent architecture of the Mughal dynasty.

Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb: This is another great architectural work of the Mughal period. It is a Mughal mausoleum in the city and popularly described as the “Jewel box”. This tomb almost resembles that of the Taj Mahal and hence is commonly reclaimed as the Baby Taj.
Fatehpur Sikri: During 1571 to 1585, Emperor Akbar ruled India and Fatehpur Sikri was made the political capital in his time. Later it was abandoned due to shortage of water, but still it remains a popular tourist attraction.
Diwan-I-Khas: The word literally means “Hall of Private Audience”. It was built by Shah Jehan 1636-37 and the place was meant to receive the important dignitaries for the king. This is small hall but has beautiful decorations of pietra dura along with double marble columns.
Panch Mahal: Panch Mahal is a 5 storey building which was used by the 3 wives of Emperor Akbar and other ladies. It’s more beautiful than fantasy and the place is probably the coolest place during the hottest periods of the year.
