You can take a train Shatabadi express from New Delhi, it starts from Delhi at 0600 in the morning and would reach Ajmer by 1300 hours.
However, if you’re traveling by bus, you have to change the bus at Jaipur. From Old Delhi, there are several buses to Jaipur daily. These buses take around 5 1/2 hrs to reach Jaipur. From there, Ajmer is about 3 hrs.
